WORKING COLLABORATIVELY UNDER AN ECI AGREEMENT, THE TEAM FROM HOSKINS MANAGED ALL DESIGN CONSULTANTS AND SPECIALIST SUBCONTRACTORS TO COMPLETE DESIGN, METHODOLOGIES, COST PLANS AND CONSTRUCTION.

Features of this project include:

Maintain and protect NextDC existing static infrastructure through the implementation of N +1 redundancy within Data Hall 4 at P1.

Construction and certification of SCEC4 Data Cage with cold aisle containment and below floor services.

New dedicated critical plant to support the cage, consisting of back up generators, cooling towers, CRAC units, Switchboards and UPS’s as well as new structural support systems and walkways for all new roof plant.

All new systems were designed and integrated into existing building management systems. An independent commissioning agent was engaged to review the Pre-IST and IST process. IST procedures were developed to allow testing in parallel which cut commissioning time in half prior to IST’s. This is now likely to be adopted across all future projects by NextDC.
