Mineral Resources Limited – 14 WALTERS DRIVE Refurbishments

ENGAGED UNDER AN ECI / DESIGN & CONSTRUCT APPROACH TO THE REFURBISHMENT OF ALL FLOORS AT MRL’S LATEST BUILDING IN OSBORNE PARK, THE PROJECT TEAM WORKED THROUGH COST PLANS AND DESIGN DETAIL TO ENABLE CAREFUL MANAGEMENT OF THE PROJECT BUDGET, BUILDABILITY AND PROGRAMME WHILST MAINTAINING OPERATIONAL ACTIVITIES TO CONTINUE UNDISTURBED.

Features of this project include:

Facilitate design completion whilst preparing cost plans for each level to allow decision makers to approve elements while works progressed on site.

Carefully planned demolition of areas were undertaken so as to allow the refurbishment works to repurpose certain existing finishes which worked to lower the construction costs and limit waste within the project.

Detailed planning and programming allowed key operations within the building to be maintained while works were occurring around them. This enabled continued operations throughout the project.
