Due to issues finalising the lease, the original programme of two weeks mobilisation and six weeks on site was reduced to five weeks on site only. This placed great pressure on the programme, which included many items with long lead times. With a dedicated team on site and detailed planning & programming, we were able to achieve a fully operational office on time.
The 400m2 fit out on St Georges Tce, procured through Jones Lang LaSalle, included inter-tenancy works directly for building management, and the comms room fit out directly for the IHS IT team located in Surrey, England. This required an open, collaborative approach to ensure that the needs of all stakeholders were met including continual communication with the Surrey team despite restrictions as a result of the time differences.
