CURTIN UNIVERSITY FHS/FH/CITS RELOCATION PROJECT

“Throughout the works Hoskins Contracting maintained a professional and tidy workplace, and were able to accommodate changing noise restrictions and working hours to suit University operations.”

Staged over three separate buildings, this extremely fast tracked project involved moving three different user groups into newly refurbished facilities. The main works were within B401 and involved the fit out of the new Psychology Research facility. The existing space was used for bulky storage, and had to be refurbished to a commercial fit out, including a large number of acoustic rated cubicles, recording and observation rooms, interview rooms and research rooms. The procurement method was a hybrid lump sum contract / construction management contract in order to accelerate the works on site while design details were resolved, and involved a highly collaborative approach from both ourselves and the design team.
