Department of Parks & Wildlife, New Laboratory

“All works were carried out in a professional and timely manner and we would be happy to work with Hoskins Contracting on future projects.”
~ Lynette Gardiner, Architect, Ferguson Architects

The result of an open tender composed of a qualitative assessment based on expertise and experience as well as price, this project involved the refurbishment of existing office space into a new laboratory. As well as the internal fit out and laboratory equipment, a new steel tower was erected in the bushland adjacent to the existing building to install the required mechanical plant and equipment. Surrounded by protected Bush Forever land controlled by the Department of Planning, the project had strict environmental controls. In addition, the new laboratory was within a live environment administration building requiring disruption to be kept to an absolute minimum.
