Curtin University – B619 Laboratory Conversion and Fit Out

This project involved repurposing an existing industrial building into an experimental laboratory for research purposes. Our scope included major services infrastructure within an intrinsically safe, highly flammable area, as well as an external structural steel gantry.

The researchers using this space designed custom equipment built in Italy. We worked proactively and collaboratively to work with a changing design in order to accommodate the end users requirements, without delaying the overall programme.

Due to the highly flammable nature of the materials, we also worked closely with the hazardous substances consultant throughout the project, and ensured that all works within the building were intrinsically safe and exceeded OHS requirements.

Due to the nature of these works we were unable to take photos of the end project. A collaborative project under the panel of works, we were proud to be acknowledged as the right contractor to complete such complex works.
